Speakers

Donna Hughes

Donna Hughes, Ph.D., is a leading international researcher on trafficking of women and children. She is frequently consulted by governments and non-governmental organizations on policy related to women’s human rights, particularly on trafficking of women and girls for sexual exploitation. She is currently a professor in the Women’s Studies Program at the University of Rhode Island.

Linda Miller

Linda Miller is the executive director of Minnesota’s Civil Society, and an attorney with 30 years’ experience dealing with underserved and frequently victimized populations. Ms. Miller founded Civil Society in 1996. Civil Society’s mission is to provide victims of human trafficking and exploitation with comprehensive services. She speaks internationally on the topic of international human trafficking victim service provision.
